Dual-source heat pump technology contributes to green and low-carbon development

Under the backdrop of the continuous advancement of the "dual carbon" goals,

dual-source heat pumps, as an important technical path for multi-energy complementarity,

are accelerating their transition from demonstration applications to large-scale promotion.

This technology achieves intelligent switching and coordinated utilization of cold and heat sources by coupling air and water renewable energy sources,

demonstrating higher system efficiency and operational stability under complex climates and multi-load conditions.

Compared with the traditional single heat pump system, the dual-source heat pump can effectively alleviate the problem of performance degradation under extreme climatic conditions.

By optimizing the heat source selection and system control strategy, the comprehensive energy efficiency ratio (COP) has been significantly improved,

while reducing the frequency of equipment start-up and shutdown and the underground heat exchange load, which has a positive significance for extending the system's service life.

Industry practice shows that in northern heating areas and public buildings with large fluctuations in cooling and heating loads,

the comprehensive energy-saving rate of dual-source heat pump systems can reach 20% to 40%.

From the application perspective, dual-source heat pumps are gradually being implemented in scenarios such as schools, hospitals, data centers, commercial complexes, and new industrial parks.

Especially in clean heating, replacing coal-fired boilers and energy-saving renovation projects of old buildings, its advantage of balancing efficiency and stability has become increasingly prominent.

Overall, dual-source heat pump technology is moving from innovation at the single equipment level to the stage of system integration and engineering application.
